TEACHING KIDS HEALTHY FOODS

Nutritionists said that " the kinds of food that kids eat while they are young mirror how healthy they will be when they get older".

Mothers should prioritize the health of their kids by providing adequate, safe and nutritious food to avoid malnutrition that can lead to diseases that kids can carry into adulthood. Parents should train their children's taste buds to appreciate a variety of flavors. Little by little, get them used to the taste of healthier dishes so they can learn to appreciate vegetables and fruits more. Children can be made to appreciate sour food by giving them calamansi juice or letting them eat unripe mangoes.

Be aware, even if they are a little older, you can still influence their food preferences as long as you introduce these taste slowly and consistently. To grow up into healthy adults, good eating habits must begin in childhood.
