Many plant foods such as soybeans, rice, corn and peas are rich sources of protein. The soy protein contains is one of the highest quality protein in the plant world - it contains the right balance of amino acid building block to provide the correct nutrition to the cells of our body. Other protein such as corn and beans must be combined in order to attain the same nutritional value as soy.
Be aware, you save a lot of calories by comparison to combinations of rice and beans or corn and beans, and even more when compared to proteins from animals which contain high fats.
