For GOOD HAIR - eat right

Doctor's dietary and lifestyle suggestions:
- Avoid foods that are too salty, spicy or sweet
- Heavy alcohol intake can aggravate dandruff conditions
- Eat foods rich in Omega3 fats (salmon, walnut,pecans, almonds,flax seeds}
They reduced inflammation and relive dry and itchy scalp.
- Steer clear from fried and processed foods containing butter and saturated fats
- Increase intake of healthy fats like olive oil, soybean, sunflower seed, fish oil
- Eat lots of fruits rich in antioxidants like blueberries, strawberries, mango, papaya
- Eat fiber-rich veggies like broccoli, spinach, cabbage and cauliflower
- Include Vitamin B rich foods in your diet such as nuts, peas, beans and whole grains
- To avoid hair loss, reduce stress and sleep at least 8 hours a day. Increase your
intake of good quality protein from meat, fish and eggs.
- A teaspoon of olive oil a day in your diet will help strengthen hair
- Shiny black hair calls for a diet rich in lentils and legumes
- Spices like turmeric and cumin can help detoxify your body
- Damaged hairs calls for silica-rich foods like green and red peppers, cucumbers and
bean sprouts.
