Benefits of R-U-N-N-I-N-G1.

1. Running reduces the chances of a lot of diseases from the common cold to cancer. It also improves the state of one's heart and lungs and ensures the good flow of blood and oxygen, decreasing the risks of heart attacks.

2. Running is one of the cardiovascular exercises that burn a lot of calories than others. Running also builds muscle mass which means that your running metabolism will increase, therefore burning more calories when you're at rest.

3. Distance running can be stress relieving. Also, running releases endorphins which can cause euphoria- a great sense of happiness. Running is also known as a treatment for clinical depression because running entails less tension, less confusion and less fatigue.

4. By running on normal basis, we strengthen our bones because we challenge it to become stronger. Demanding more from our bones actually makes them stronger and this makes the aging of the body slower.

5. Running can build up confidence and self-esteem.

6. Running as physical as it is, is also an exercise for the mind. Achieving the distances you've targeted makes the mind more focused.

7. Runners also have better coordination. It helps improve coordination as it teaches the runner to be upright while jogging.

8. Like other exercises, running can improve a person's sleep.

BE aware, sitting all day in front of the computer weakens our bones.
