KNOWING TAI-CHI I of IV


Tai-chi chuan or tai-chi is an ancient form of martial art that is being practiced for health reasons. The 5 major tai-chi styles are:
. chen style
. yang style.
. wu/hao style of wu yu-hsiang
. wu style/ wu ch'uan-yu and his son wu chien-ch'uan
. sun style

Be aware, often described as "meditation in motion", tai-chi has a calming effect, brought about by it's gentle movements which are also believed to connect the mind and body. While it was initially developed as a form of self-defense in China, tai-chi is now being practiced regularly to help reduce stress aside from it's other health benefits.
