HEALTHY PERSPECTIVE

Writer Jeff Keeller noted that it is necessary for us to develop a healthy perspective in life so as to experience less tension, improve our attitude and develop keener insight into the meaning of our life. He recommended the following suggestions:

> LOOK at the problem in the context of your entire life. The key is to see the problem for what it is, and not let it dominate your thinking for an entire day, week or month,

> BE OPEN to the idea that - everything happens for a reason. If you doubt this principle, speak to people who, in your view, are positive and successful and who seem to have peace of mind.

> EXTEND yourself to others. Finding ways to serve and help others will make you feel better and broaden your understanding about interconnected of all human beings.

> REDIRECT your focus to the many blessings in your life. In other words be grateful by counting your blessings.

>SURROUND yourself with people who have a healthy outlook. These individuals rarely complain and a joy to be around.
