FORGIVENESS -the power of RELEASE
We don't have a cemetery big enough to bury the hurts, offenses and the pains caused by our friend, enemies and loved ones. But to forgive we should because forgiveness is the key that releases us from the hurts and pains that chain us. Only then can we move forward and explore better opportunities. Forgiveness is the power of release.
Getting revenge makes you even with your enemy, but forgiving him puts you above him. Loving people, doing business, raising up a family all entail risks. The risk of being hurt and being betrayed but if we look at ourselves in the mirror, we are not exactly spotless either. And this is why we also need forgiveness.
Ask God for forgiveness and learn to receive him for only then could you have forgiveness to give it away. Be released and experience the fullness of living NOW and for the years to come.
Be aware, it is a reality that it is much easier to forgive an enemy than forgive a friend. And some people do forgive their enemies, but not until they are dead.
GREEN Gifting
The survey of Christmas consumer behaviors in 18 European countries found that French were more than twice as likely as other Europeans to give second-hand items, making France a pioneer in the trend. Concerns about the ecology and the economy have come together and are now seeing people who accept the types of gifts that were not appreciated just a short time ago, studies showed
Second-hand gifts maybe more widely accepted in France because the French are accustomed to garage sales and second-hand stores.
BE aware, a study by online survey firm Vivodi for PriceMinister showed 8 out of 10 people would be happy to receive a used item as a gift and that younger consumers were more open to the idea.
CHRISTMAS and our HEALTH
Researchers said that: strokes, are due to overindulgence, stress and under staff hospitals. This phenomenon is called Merry Christmas Coronary and Happy New Year heart attack. More people suffer heart attacks and strokes on Christmas time. Worse, sufferers are more likely to die than at any time of the year. The cold weather constricts blood vessels, burdening the heart. The holiday stress wears people down. People tend to eat fatty food, drink more alcohol and miss doctor's appointments, skip medications, and put off diet and exercise.
BE aware, according to Department of Health, strokes, heart attacks and accidents are the first, second and fourth leading causes of deaths.
DOMESTIC ANIMALS
A medium-sized dog eats around 164 kilos (360 pounds) of meat and 95 kilos of cereal a year. Combine the land required to generate it's food and a "medium" sized dog has an annual footprint of 0.84 hectares - around twice the 0.41 hectares required by a 4x4 driving 10,000 kilometers a year including energy to build a car.
Cats have an eco-footprint of about 0.15 hectares slightly less than driving a volkswagen golf for a year, while 2 hamsters equates to a plasma television and even the humble goldfish burns energy equivalent to 2 mobile telephone.
Pets environmental impact is not limited to their carbon footprint as cats and dogs devastate wildlife, spread disease and pollute waterways. Likewise dogs decrease biodiversity in areas they are walked, while their feces caused high bacterial levels in rivers and streams making the water unsafe to drink, starving waterways of oxygen and killing aquatic life.
Cat poo can be even more toxic than doggy doo- owners who flush their litter down the toilet ultimately impact sea otters and other animals with toxic-plasma gondji, which causes a killer brain disease.
Be aware, man's best friend could be one of the environments's worst enemies according to studies which says the carbon pawprint of a pet dog is more than double that of a gas-guzaling sports utility vehicle.
INSIGHTS
Adapting the right mindset can make all of the difference in the world.
2. SOME relationships end.
The art of letting go is mathematically proportional to the art of self-preservation. Prolonged agony is detrimental to one's health, therefore it is necessary. Those who from time to time feel cheated and abused are not the easiest people to love either by others or by themselves. What ends blossoms again when we move on and move up.
3. LAUGHTER is as important as breathing.
You forget about it and you perish. Laughter is the quickest break one mortal can take to momentary immortality.
4. SOME things can be done with a snap of a finger.
Other beautiful things happen when we wait.
5. THIS world is not only all about us...
This world is also about others - their needs, their faults, their victories, their lonesomeness, their cravings, their ambitions. . . Those who still believes that the world is theirs to keep have not yet experienced what true love is. No man is an island and attending to others is the most potent kind of love of all.
6. WHAT food is to the body, prayer is to soul.
Prayer is encompassing, is the nourishment that keeps the mind and spirit going. The importance of praying for each other is the essence of humanity.
BE aware, spend time alone once in a while to be more attuned to yourself. Be silent and still. Sometime spending time alone always takes you to an inspiring, insightful journey.

HALLELUJAH
Composer George Frideric Handel was bankrupt when in 1741 a group of Dublin Charities offered him a commission to write a musical work. It was for a benefit performance to raise funds to free men from a debtor's prison. He accepted that commission and gave himself tirelessly to work for it.
In just 24 days, Handel composed the well-known masterpiece- Messiah which contains "The Hallelujah Chorus". During that time, he never left his home and often went without eating. At one point, a servant found him weeping over his evolving score. Recounting his experience, Handel wrote, "whether I was in my body or out of my body as I wrote it Iknow not. God knows. I did think I did see all heaven before me and the great God himself."
"The Hallelujah Chorus" stirs my soul whenever I hear it, as I'm sure it does yours. But let's be sure we do more than resonate to that magnificent music. Let us open our hearts in faith and adoration for the Messiah promised in the book of Isaiah (Isaiah 9:1-7) "Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, an the government will be upon His shoulder.
POINTS to PONDER
You can be beautiful in your own terms, especially if you believe in yourself and not be enslaved by societal standards that prevent you from being the best you can be. After all, beauty transcends physical appearance.
BLESSINGS.
Perhaps the difference between the rich and the poor is their ability to receive, utilize and optimized God's blessings. When you look for gold and riches alone, you seldom find them. More often, when you seek to serve others first, the money follows.
GOD's GIFT.
What you do with yourself is your gift to God. If you have a skill, talent or competency, don't just sit there - put your talents to the best use.
GOALS and VICTORIES.
Sit your eyes on results that you want to happen in your life. Whenever you achieve your goals, no matter how simple and easy they are, learn to celebrate and motivate yourself.
STRENGTHS and WEAKNESSES.
Wisdom consists in knowing your strengths, your weaknesses, what you can do to improve your strengths, what weaknesses you can not change and how to compensate for those weaknesses so that they don't stand in the way of your success.
DOING your BEST.
Most successful people are able to find a need and they are the first to fill that need. Find your little corner in the world where the sun shines the brightest for you and strive to be the best in what you do in that corner.
BE PROUD not CONCEITED.
Feel good about yourself and chances are that you will succeed in doing your best. Take pride in whatever you do and leave a trademark in every accomplishment you make.
AGE.
Age does not depend upon years, but upon temperament and health. Some men are born old and some never grow old.
Legend of the Christmas TREE
This practice spread to other lands and eventually reached our shores. Even the practice of decorating our houses with Christmas wreaths dates back to pagan times when wreaths were offered as homage to woodland spirits and gods, as a symbol of their everlasting life. The wreaths have berries placed among shining leaves symbolizing male sexuality. The ivy symbolized the female. Both leaves and berries were intertwined, and promised long lives and fertility. Later, the church promoted the holly as a symbol of good luck, and its sharp leaves as Christ's crown of thorns. The red berries symbolized Christ blood.
BE aware, homes and churches recreated the scene of the Nativity as early in 1224 by St. Francis of Assisi.
LAUGHTER YOGA is for everyone
It was to Nobel Prize twice winner in the field of Medicine, Dr. Otto Warburg credit that the connection between oxygenation and the cells in the major organs of our bodies came to fore. He also explained how and why people get sick due to stress.
Norman Cousins, a respected New York editor, was diagnosed with a fatal, incurable spinal disease. When all medications failed, he checked out of the hospital and holed himself in his house and laughed his heart out - all day long. A month later, he went back to the hospital for a check-up and amazed the doctors with almost-could-not-believe-it attitude. He was not healed, traces of his dreaded disease was nowhere to be found! When asked, he revealed the secret of his complete recovery - LAUGHTER! Later, he wrote a book about his illness and recovery titled "Anatomy of an Illness."
BE aware, in some parts of India, Lyoga has been introduced early on to school children as part of their daily school activities particularly in morning ceremonies. Lyoga International reports that in school where Lyoga was integrated in their daily routine, school children's behavior turned vibrant, become more alert and mentally brighter. Some school principals even reported zero absenteeism, as children were eager to attend classes. Maybe Lyoga is the secret why Indians today are more intelligent, brighter and outgoing.

DE-STRESSING HERBS
is most known as a tea with a calming effect. It also a digestive aid, tranquilizer and immuno-stimulant. It helps with mild sleep disorder and calms a nervous stomach. After steeping tea bags in hot water, remove the tea bags and set them aside so you can put them on your eyes before you go to bed. They are good for helping to reduce puffiness around the eyes.
LEMON or calamansi.
The fragrance of citrus fruits provide an instant pick-me-up and stimulates the senses. This helps reduce tension and relieves some body aches and pains by helping to relax your muscles. You can grate the peel of the fruit to release the fragrance or better yet eat the fruit and get a load of fiber and vitamins at the same time.
GINSENG.
is usually used to "restore" the nervous system after a prolonged illness or injury. In the case of occasional stress, ginseng helps you cope either by sedating or stimulating your central nervous system, according to your body's needs - therefore "balancing" you out. Studies have shown that ginseng also helps increase your brain's utilization of amino acids, which is important because when you are under stress, your body uses more protein (which is composed of amino acids) than usual.
ROSEMARY.
relaxes the muscles in the body. Your muscles tense up when you're stressed. On the other hand when your muscles are relaxed, you get better blood flow into the brain, helping you think more clearly. Fresh and dried rosemary leaves are used frequently in traditional mediteranean cuisine. Sprinkle liberally when cooking so you'll get a good meal and stress relief too.
LAVENDER.
can be used as a tea or an ingredient in cooking or as an essential oil. It is effective in reducing irritability and anxiety and promoting relaxation and calmness. It is also a powerful anti-bacterial agent, and can work to balance hormones and stimulate the immune system. When you can not sleep because of stress, try putting a few drops of lavender on your pillows at bedtime. You can also make your own lavender room spray by combining 20 drops of lavender, a tablespoon of vodka, and water in a 4 ounce spray bottle. Spray the room when you are starting to feel nervous or stressed.
ST. JOHN'S WART.
is commonly used in countries with winter season to help combat "seasonal depression" when people don't get as much sun during that time of the year. This is available in all health stores in capsule form. It promotes sense of well-being.
BE aware, when choosing an herb or oil, first try to figure out if the stress you are experiencing has left you either drained and tired or agitated and tense. Some herbs and oils help you relax while others help invigorate you. As with everything in life, you should also use herbs and oils in moderation. If you really are feeling stressed all the time, you should consider other methods of stress-relief, including going to a health professional, if needed.
HERBS -for de-stressing
Simply add herbs or oils to warm compresses or baths. If you have your own hot tub and you find that the heat relieves your stress, add a few drops of essential oil the next time you get in. If you do not have a bath tub, simply add a few drops to a basin of steaming water and inhale the steam - this will open up your pores too, for a nice home facial.
BE aware, shops that sell cosmetics will usually have aromatherapy oils. Also you can grow your own herbs in your garden for a quick fix and instant stress relief such as: chamomile, lemon, ginseng, rosemary, lavender and sir john wart.
GOOD & BAD STRESS
Constant exposure to negative stress can lead to assorted health problems that range from simple headaches to severe depression or anxiety. Prolonged high levels of stress can eat up our nutrient and energy resources and create an overall state of exhaustion. Blood pressure and cholesterol levels increase, the stomach secretes too much acid, sex hormones decreasing one's resistance to colds, flu, and other types of illness.
At the end of the day, try to think back on people, situations and things that made you feel uncomfortable. Knowing what makes you react in a negative way is the first step towards stress relief because you can either avoid your triggers or find a better way of dealing them.
BE aware, there are many simple and inexpressive ways to reduce your stress levels on your own using common herbs and aromatic oils that you can find in your kitchen or in the grocery store spice shelf.
FAITHWORKS
A belief in a Creator makes the person acknowledge that He has power over him. She then tends to believe that she has access to resources beyond her comprehension, understanding or knowledge at this particular moment in time. If you have that attitude, you are better prepared to handle difficult situation in your life. You do not get caught in a dead end because you know that somewhere, somehow, sometime, provision and/or wisdom will be coming your way. When your mind is attuned to this kind of attitude, it orients your whole perspective according to this context, and your body follows.
Faith is a benevolent Supreme Being who actually cares can make a patient more cooperative as far as treatment is concerned. The studies indicate that there is a correlation between physical health and a spiritual state that is at peace with God and augmented by a stronger faith.
Praying to God personally or with other in a spirit of community can also lead the patient to resolve certain emotional issues, such as forgiveness, which in turn brings about medical benefits.
BE aware, while more research is needed to formally evaluate the health benefits of forgiveness, a number of small studies has shown numerous potential health benefits confirmed by forgiveness:
decreased anger and negative thoughts
decreased anxiety
decreased depression and grief and
decreased vulnerability to substance use
STRESS -negative &positive
A person under stress my develop assorted symptoms of such ulcers, asthma and palpitation. It can also affect the hormones and alter the immune system, which can make a person susceptible to respiratory diseases. A woman's menstrual cycle can also be affected by stress. Cognitively she can find it hard to make decisions. Her feelings can also fluctuate depending on the intensity of the stress.
Other mental symptom include tension, irritability and inability to concentrate, excessive fatigue and trouble sleeping. Physically, the immediate symptoms include a dry mouth, a pounding heart, difficulty breathing, an upset stomach, frequent urination, sweaty palms, tight muscles and trembling.
Sources of stress can come from anywhere and everywhere. Unwashed dishes, early morning traffic, deadlines at work, a rocky relationship, calamities . Stress can be encountered in the most ordinary to the most catastrophic situations. But once the stressful situation is gone, the body goes back to it's normal mode once more.
Stress can either be overcome or it can reach a point where it incapacitates a person. The difference lies in how she or he is able to snap out of the situations and control it rather than the other way around. Stress can be fatal if the person's coping mechanism is problematic. Sometimes when a person's sense of control is threatened, it can contribute to depression and even trauma, especially if the stress is persistent. When this happens, therapy maybe needed. A person should seek therapy if her coping mechanism are faulty and it is starting to put a stress on her relationships.
Stress is not always negative, there is such thing as positive stress - like giving birth. There is a type called "eustress", which is a short term stress that provides immediate strength like when an athlete is about to compete. This usually happens near moments of increased physical activity, enthusiasm and creativity.
BE aware, stress is always a part of our life. We should learn to deal with it so we can manage better the next time we find ourselves in a stressful situation. Some research syas that stressful experinces help enhance our memory and learning - thanks to the chemicals released in our brains like adrenaline, which improves our alertness.

ACCURATE WATER NEEDS
1. it is a vital component of our cells
2. a necessary agent in the body's chemical process
3. a facilitator of all bodily functions including respiration and digestion
4. regulates body temperature
5. lubricates joints and muscles for proper movement
Mild dehyration or lack of water in your body corresponding to only 1%-2% of body weight loss in adults can lead to a significant impairment in both cognitive function (alertness, concentration, short-term memory) and physical performances (endurance, sports skills).
So if you want to be at the top of your game all the time, do not exclusively rely on thirst to know if you're dehydrated. Mild to moderate dehydration manifests through a dry, sticky mouth, sleepiness or tiredness, decreased urine input, few or no tears in crying, muscle weakness, headaches and dizziness or light-headedness.
You kow you're severely hehydrated when you experience extreme irritability and confusion, lac of sweating, little urination, low blood pressure, rapid heart beat, and fever. For beauty conscious people out there, dehydration leads to a very dry mouth, sunken eyes, and shrivelled dry skin tahat lacks elasticity. Worse yet, you can experience delerium or unconsciousness, all from a lack of just water.
At a particular risk of dehydration include the very young and elderly. This is because infants have a highter percentage of water in their bodies while the elderly experience degradation of their bodily functions like the sensation of thirst. This is also due to the simple fact that their mobility is slower thus making it hard to drink more often.
According to the study, "human water requirements are not based on a minimal intake as it might lead to a water deficit because of numerous factors that modify water needs - metabolism, climate, physical activity, diet and so on. What it means is that you should not limit yourself to only 8 -glasses-a-day because you need more based on your activities and the weather. The study recommends the following intake levels:
Male adolescents aged 9-13 yrs need 1.8L -a-day
14-18yrs need 2.6L-a-day
Male adults need 3L- a - day
Female adolescents aged 9-13 yrs need 1.6L-a-day
14-18yrs need 1.8L-a-day
Female adults need 2.2L-a-day
That is equivalent to 13-glasses for male adults and 9-glasses for female adults. Furthermore the study states that this total water amount represents water, other beverages and water from food.

DAILY SILENT KILLERS
there is no life without stress but how one handles it is the key to being stressed out or be happy. The trick is not to let life situations intimidate you but to gain control of the situation. If you do feel stressed out, go out and pamper yourself or do something you enjoy doing.

IMMUNITY FOUNDATION for 2-6 years old kids
All children have a natural developing defense system against sickness from childbirths but from ages 2-6, they need extra care to help strengthen it, and extra protection to shield them from dangers of the environment around them. Below are some tips to help your child fortify his immunity foundation.
1. Refrain from putting him in confined spaces. Keep in mind that they are breeding ground for harmful germs that can threaten his health. For playtime, bring him outdoors where there is fresh air and clean surroundings like the playground.
2. At this tender age, your child begins to learn how to share things like toys with siblings as well with other kids. Be mindful of what he holds and shares with others as these things might have harmful viruses and bacteria. To be sure, have him wash his hands regularly. This way, he has his first line of defense covered.
3. Always check if your child gets enough sleep because he needs to re-gain the energy he exerted during the day. If his body is re-energized, it will be strong to ward off sickness. So tuck him to sleep while reading a wonderful book or sharing a fun story.
4. During meal times, ensure that he gets the right amount of nutrients needed by his body. Serve only healthy foods. Be creative and give a simple vegetable dish an exciting twist, so that your kid will enjoy it more. And don't forget his daily dose of vitamins is essential to help his immunity foundation become stronger.
BE aware, the combination of Vitamin C and Zinc is most essential as it is equipped to help maximize your child's ability to fight sickness.

$25M each for PACQUIAO and MAYWEATHER
Pacquiao and Mayweather are scheduled to face off in a highly anticipated March 13 showdown at a still unspecified venue in the U.S.
pACQUIAO will stake his WBO welterweight crown, which he won from Miguel Cotto via a 12th-round TKO last Nov 14 to become the first fighter in history to win 7 world titles in as many weight classes. This time though, the bout will have no catch weight
Both fighters will use 8-ounce globes, the ones Pacquiao prefers - but wil be allowed to select the brand they will use. Pacquiao has been on the rise the past couple of years with explosive victories over Cotto, Ricky Hatton, Oscar de la Hoya, and David Diaz - all via knockout.
Mayweather on the other hand, hammered out a 12-round decision over Marquez after coming off a 21-month layoff.
BE aware, Pacquiao said:" the difference between Floyd and others I have fought is that Floyd makes a lot of trash talk that should not be imitated by young people.

WRINKLES and Aging Gracefully
Getting old is not necessarily the passage of time. It is lying awake all night fearing the dawn of another day. Getting old is giving up.
It is said that wrinkles go only where smiles have been or the scar left behind by tears. I believe laughter enriches our life while weeping strengthens our soul. As Clarence Day said: "age should not have it's face-lifted, but it should rather teach the world to admire wrinkles as the etchings of experience and the firm lines of character.
BE aware, getting old is a privilege.
WRINKLES
Dermatologists say that as we age, epidermal cells become thinner and less sticky. Moisture is released which causes dry skin. Cells decrease by 10% every decade and divides more slowly, the skin is less able to repair itself.
Wrinkles happen when collagen breaks down deep into the dermis (inner layer of the skin). Most "repair kits" contain generous amounts of collagen, precisely to prevent dryness and keep time at bay.
The experts say that free radicals in the atmosphere cause wrinkles. Air pollutants, smoking and exposure to UV radiation start the "cascading process" which destroys collagen and elasticity. Sunlight is a natural enemy of the skin. Hormones sometimes wreak havoc. Habitual frowns etch themselves permanently in our faces. Crow's feet, those little lines that radiate from the corner of our eyes, become more visible. Gravity is another culprit. It causes skin to sag.
Attempts to hold back time have included unprecedented hype to push Vit A CREAMS ON A DESPERATE PUBLIC. Retin "A" rejuvenator has enjoyed as much publicity.
Healthy Dieting For Weight Loss
Healthy Dieting For Weight Loss
By John Daniel Rivera
Losing weight depends also on our choice of foods that we need to eat everyday. Don't worry too much about the number of calories you consume as about eating the proper foods. Just be sure to rotate your foods, and be sure to eat a variety of foods. Here is a guide to what is a healthy dieting for weight loss. Having a healthy diet will help your general health but also enable you to lose weight.
1. Eat meals that consist of balance proteins, complex carbohydrates, and some fat. Proteins can increase your metabolic rate by as much as 30 percent and help to balance the release of insulin by prompting secretion of the pancreatic hormone glucagons. Protein induced glucagon mobilizes fats from the tissues in which it is stored, thus aiding in weight loss. By eating balanced healthy meals you get more steady blood sugar levels and the ability to burn stored fat for long term weight loss.
2. Eat fresh fruits and an abundance of raw vegetables. Have one meal each day that consists entirely of vegetables and fruits. Use low calorie vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, cucumbers, green beans, kale, lettuce, onions, radishes, spinach, and turnips. Low calorie, low carbohydrate fruits include apples, cantaloupe, grapefruit, strawberries and watermelon. The following are higher in calories and should be consumed in moderation: bananas, cherries, corn, figs, grapes, and green peas. Hominy, pears, pineapple, sweet potatoes, white rice and yams.
3. Spirulina aids in weight loss. Take it thirty minutes before meals to decrease your appetite. Spirulina also sustains energy, aids detoxification, and aids in maintaining proper bowel function.
4. Use wheatgrass to calm the appetite. This is a very nutritious fuel from whole food that assists metabolic functions. Kelp is also beneficial.
5. Do not consume alcohol in any form, including beer and wine. Alcohol not only adds calories, but it inhibits the burning of fat from fat deposits. It can also interfere with your judgment, so you may find yourself eating things you ordinarily would not.
6. Do not eat any white flour products, salts, white rice or processed foods. Also, avoid fast food restaurants and all junk foods.
7. Last keep a diet diary to help you keep track of what you eat, the caloric and fat content of what you eat, and what triggers your eating. This can help you to pinpoint and eliminate trigger factors (such as allergies and depression), as well as let you see if you are eating too much of the wrong types of foods.
You have to realize, that a healthy diet for weight loss is no joke some people find it hard but with strong determination you will be able to do it and also you have to introduce a new routine into your lifestyle. In many ways, weight loss is only a matter of practice and common sense, with a little research and determination.

Best Healthy Diet For Weight Loss
Best Healthy Diet For Weight Loss
By John Daniel Rivera
People who have weight problems and are starting to shed some fats are worrying about what is the best healthy diet for weight loss. Are they eating enough protein? Are they taking high calorie foods? Is this wrong for me, or is that bad for me? With all the books scattered around it's hard to tell what's correct and what's wrong. Below we will give you a few simple tips that you can use for your weight loss diet. We have to be reminded always that food should be enjoyed. Without overindulging or eating too much of a bad thing you should be able to enjoy your meals.
Traditionally, there are three basic approaches to weight loss through nutritional supplementation. The first is the use of diuretic herbs and nutrients to reduce water retention. The second is the use of lipotropic vitamins, which have the ability to reduce cholesterol and fat. Third is the use of natural appetite suppressants. Permanent weight loss, however, requires a lifetime commitment to a healthier lifestyle in general.. Let us now proceed to some of our recommended tips.
1. Always eat breakfast. It jump-starts the metabolism at the beginning of the day. Eat small but nutrient-dense meals every three to four hours throughout the day to keep your metabolism stable, to maintain a full feeling, to avoid wide swings in blood sugar. Good choices might include a 2-ounce portion of protein food (beans, an egg, poultry) with ½ cup of fresh salad dressed with apple cider vinegar, or ½ cup of a steamed vegetable with some type of grain (1/2 cup brown rice or a piece of whole-or multigrain bread).
2. Don't skip meals. This only intensifies hunger and food cravings.
3. Make your main meal lunch, not dinner. Some people have had excellent results consuming no food after 3pm.
4. At meals, put less food on your plate. Chew slowly. Stop eating as soon as you no longer hungry don't wait until you feel full.
5. Eat foods raw, if possible. If foods are heated, they should be baked, broiled, steamed, or boiled. Never consume fried or greasy foods.
6. Consume the following foods in moderation: apples, brown rice, buckwheat, chestnuts, corn, grapes, oatmeal, white potatoes, and yellow vegetables. These foods contain small amounts of essential fatty acids, but they should not be overused.
7. Eat more complex carbohydrates that also offer protein, such as tofu, lentils, plain baked potatoes no toppings, except for vegetables sesame seeds, beans, brown rice, whole grains, skinless turkey or chicken breast, and white fish no shellfish. Poultry and fish should be broiled or baked, never fried.
Finally, see to it that your choices of meals are base on a program that will lead to weight loss and be sure to drink 4 to 6liters of water daily and also incorporate exercise in your daily routine. You don't have to force yourselves to incorporate these tips into your daily routine right away, start slow and learn to adapt them. The best healthy diet for weight loss is all about practicing the right diet. So how do you lose weight? The number one recommended program is to use a well-structured weight loss program (Strip That Fat Program) that you can easily follow day by day. It is already proven that a balanced diet, exercise, together with your goal to Loss Weight is a great way to be healthier lifestyle.

Natural Pneumonia Treatment - Part 2
Natural Pneumonia Treatment - Part 2
By John Daniel Rivera
Young children (especially infants), older adults, and people who have compromised immune systems are very vulnerable to the potentially life-threatening effects of this illness. Pneumonia is now the fifth leading cause of death in the United States. No matter what the cause, pneumonia usually leaves the sufferer with the weakness that persists for four to eight weeks after the acute phase of the infection has resolved.
Unless otherwise specified, the dosages recommended here are for adults. For a child between the ages of twelve and seventeen, reduce the dose to three-quarters the recommended amount. For a child between six and twelve, use one-half the recommended dose, and for a child under the age of six, use one-quarter the recommended amount.
NATURAL HERBS FOR PNEUMONIA TREATMENT
- Astragalus enhances the immune system.
- Clear Lungs from Ridgecrest Herbals is an herbal combination that helps provide relief from shortness of breath, tightness in the chest, and wheezing due to bronchial congestion. It is available in two formulas: one with ephedra and the other without. They appear to be equally effective.
- Echinacea enhances immunity.
- Ginger is an effective antimicrobial agent and is helpful for fever.

- Children with pneumonia have to be carefully monitored. If you suspect that your child might have pneumonia, seek medical advice immediately.
Effective natural pneumonia treatment recommended by almost European doctors is the self-administered oxygen therapy. The claim is so simple, microbes, harmful bacteria, and viruses such as pneumonia, cancer heart disease and even aids, do not cause the disease by themselves. They just thrive and spread in their natural habitat the oxygen - depleted body. The moment our body is depleted of oxygen it becomes acidic and normally all kinds of viruses and harmful bacteria thrive and reproduce exponentially. The body with enough supply of oxygen is uninhabitable by all kinds of diseases and viruses. Therefore, the recommended first line of defense is to keep the body always oxygenated. Take the time to explore and study this effective and controversial therapy

Natural Pneumonia Treatment - Part 1
Natural Pneumonia Treatment - Part 1
By John Daniel Rivera
Pneumonia is a serious infection of the lungs that can be caused by any of a number of different infectious agents, including viruses, bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and mycoplasma. The infection causes tiny air sacs in the lung area to become inflamed and filled with mucus and pus, inhibiting oxygen from reaching the blood. Lobar pneumonia affects only a section, or lobe, of one lung. Although symptoms can vary in intensity, they usually include fever, chills, cough, bloody sputum, muscle aches, fatigue, sore throat, enlarged lymph glands in the neck, cyanosis (a bluish cast to skin and nails), pain in the chest, and rapid, difficult respiration.
Pneumonia is typically preceded by an upper respiration infection such as cold, influenza, or measles. Factors that increase the risk of pneumonia include being either under one year or over sixty years of age, a weakened immune system, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, HIV infection, seizure or strokes, aspiration under anesthesia, alcoholism, smoking, kidney failure, sickle cell disease, malnutrition, foreign bodies in the respiratory passages, exposure to chemical irritants, and even allergies.
Bacterial pneumonia can be very dangerous and may come on either suddenly or gradually, usually as a complication of some other health problem such as respiratory disease, a weakened immune system, or viral infection. Older adults, young children, alcoholics, and people who have just undergone surgery are also at risk. Streptococcus pneomoniae is the most common cause of bacterial pneumonia. Symptoms usually include shaking, chills, and high temperature. The cough is dry at first. Then a rust-colored sputum is produced, and breathing becomes rapid and labored. Chest pain that worsens upon inhalation, abdominal pain, and fatigue are also common, This type of pneumonia is unlikely to spread from one person to another.
Viral Pneumonia is more variable in course and severity. It can come on suddenly or gradually, and symptoms- which are much the same as those of bacterial pneumonia- can be mild, severe, or anywhere in between. It is less serious than bacterial pneumonia, but if not cared for properly, a second, bacterial pneumonia infection can set in.
Fungal Pneumonia, especially Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia (PCP), is much less common that either the bacterial or viral variety, and is often associated with a weakened or suppressed immune system. People with HIV, AIDS, or certain types of cancer, or who are taking immunosuppressive drugs following organ transplantation, are most likely to be affected.
Mycoplasma pneumonia, or "walking pneumonia" is caused by an agent that is unclassified but appears to be both bacterium and virus. This form of pneumonia usually affects people under forty. The symptoms tend to be less severe than those of viral or bacterial pneumonia and include a cough that is spasmodic, along with chills and a fever.
Infants can contract pneumonia due to a Chlamydia trachomatis infection transferred to the child during the birth. Childhood pneumonia can also be caused by the same bacteria that cause whooping cough.
NATURAL HERBS FOR PNEUMONIA TREATMENT
The Chinese mushrooms cordyceps is available in a tonic formula to support the lungs. Clear lungs from Ridgecrest herbals is a Chinese herbal formula designed to provide nutrients to the lungs. Elderberry has antiviral properties and reduces pneumonia symptoms. Ephedra (ma huang) is beneficial for relief of congestion and coughing. Warning: do not use this herb if you suffer from anxiety, glaucoma, heart disease, high blood pressure, or insomnia, or if you are taking a monoamine oxidase inhibitor. Eucalyptus oil is beneficial for relieving congestion. Put 5 drops in hot bath or 6 drops in a cup of boiling water, put a towel over your head, and inhale the vapors. Olive leaf extract enhances immune system function and fights all types of infection, including the flu virus.
More recommendations for natural pneumonia treatment
Consume plenty of fluids, especially fresh juices, herbal teas, soups and quality water, to prevent dehydration and help flush out the body. To shorten the length of the flu, go on a liquid diet emphasizing hot herbal teas and hot broth for one of two days. Sleep and rest as much as possible. Do not take zinc at the same time you eat or drink citrus fruits or juices. It will diminish the effectiveness of the zinc. Do consume a lot of other types of fruit. Fenugreek breaks up phlegm and mucus, and slippery elm helps remove them from the body. If you are over sixty-five, see your health care provider.
Pneumonia can cause serious complications for people in this age group. Antibiotics are useless against viral illnesses like pneumonia and influenza. The best way to get rid of the problem or any other infectious illness is to attack it head on by strengthening the immune system. The thymus and adrenal glands are the power seat of the immune system. When the body is getting sick, or is already sick, it is under stress, and stress taxes the immune system. Researchers have linked vulnerability to colds, flu and pneumonia to psychological stress.

Alternative Gonorrhea Treatment
Alternative Gonorrhea Treatment
By John Daniel Rivera
Gonorrhea is a contagious bacterial infection, most commonly acquired through sexual contact with an infected partner. In men, the disease often infects the urethra (the conduit in the penis that carries urine and sperm) and may spread to other structures in the genitals or urinary tract. In women, gonorrhea usually infects the cervix but may eventually spread to other parts of the reproductive system (uterus and fallopian tubes, a condition known as pelvic inflammatory disease, which can lead to infertility. Less commonly, infections may occur in the throat, rectum, or eyes. Symptoms usually develop within two to 10 days after exposure, although many people, particularly women, experience no symptoms at all.
This disease generally strikes people between the ages of 18 and 30, particularly those who have had multiple sexual partners. Left untreated, the infection may spread via the bloodstream to the joints and tendons as well as to valves in the heart. Gonorrhea also increases the risk of HIV infection. With proper treatment, however, prognosis is excellent, although reinfection is common.
PREVENTION AND TREATMENT
• Abstinence or maintaining monogamous sexual relationships are the only sure ways to prevent sexually transmitted gonorrhea.
• Men are advised to use a latex condom during sex.
• A doctor will prescribe an antibiotic such as cefixime, ciprofloxacin. In addition, all people with gonorrhea should be treated for Chlamydia, usually with azithromycin or doxycycline. Take antibiotics for the full term prescribed.
• Abstain from sexual activity until you are assured by your doctor that the infection is completely cured.
• Non-prescription pain relievers may be used to ease discomfort.
• Gonorrhea in the eye is treated with intravenous antibiotics as well as irrigation of the eye with antibiotic solution.
• Sex partners should be referred for treatment.
Self administered oxygen therapy is highly recommended for gonorrhea treatment. Exploring and studying this powerful alternative therapy couple with proper nutrition makes it very effective. According to researched it was discovered that if you withhold or deprive a cell 35% of its required levels of oxygen for two to three days, the cell will become malignant and will be prone to different kinds of sickness and diseases. People nowadays don't realize that lack of oxygen is the cause of all most diseases. When the body is supplied with abundant amounts of oxygen, no viruses, harmful bacteria, toxins, pathogens and disease microorganisms can survive because they cannot survive in a highly oxygenated body.

Alternative Alzheimer’s Disease Treatment
Alternative Alzheimer’s Disease Treatment
Author: john danielAlzheimer’s disease is the result of a slow degeneration of nerve cells neurons in the areas of the brain that causes a decline in intellectual function. Symptoms usually appear gradually, get progressively worse over years, and are irreversible. Minor forgetfulness becomes more pronounced; speech deteriorates; the ability to do every day things. Such as dressing, bathing, and eating, is increasingly difficult. In the final stages, severe intellectual decline is taking place that results in complete die within 8 to10 years of onset, often from complications such as malnutrition or pneumonia. It afflicts about 10 percent of Americans over the age of 62, and as many as 50 percent of those over eighty-five. However, the disease does not affect only the elderly, but may strike when a person is in his or her forties.
Alzheimer’s disease was considered to be a psychological problem before, but it is now known to be a degenerative disorder that is characterized by a specific set of physiological changes in the brain. Nerve fibers surrounding the hippocampus, the brain’s memory center, become tangled, and information is no longer carried properly to or from the brain. New memories cannot be formed, and memories formed earlier cannot be retrieved. Characteristic plaques accumulate in the brain as well. These plaques are composed largely of protein-containing substance called betaamyloid. Scientists believe that the plaques accumulate in and damage nerve cells.
Diet and nutrition recommended for alternative Alzheimer’s disease treatment
Eat a well balanced diet of natural foods and follow the supplementation program recommended above. Have a hair analysis to rule out the possibility of heavy metal intoxication as the cause of symptoms. Include plenty of fiber in your diet. Try oat or rice bran. Have allergy testing performed to rule out environmental and/or food allergies. Avoid alcohol, cigarette smoke, processed foods, and environmental toxins, especially metals such as aluminium and mercury. Smoking more than doubles the risk of developing dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, according to a study published in the British medical journal the Lancet. While recent studies have not substantiated a connection between aluminium and Alzheimer’s disease, it is still wise to avoid aluminium intakes as much as possible. All metals in excess are toxic to the body. Butcher’s broom promotes healthy circulation.
Ginkgo biloba extract, taken in liquid or capsule form, acts as an antioxidant and increase blood flow to the brain. According to a report published in Octover 22, 1977, edition of the journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), ginkgo biloba extract can stabilize and, in some cases people improve mental functioning and social behaviour of people with Alzheimer’s disease. Take 100 to 200 mg of ginkgo biloba extract three times daily. Kava kava and St. John’s wort help calm people who anger easily.
The ideal alternative treatment endorsed by almost top alternative doctors is the self-administered oxygen therapy. Scientist claim that harmful bacteria, viruses such as pneumonia, Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, heart disease and even aids, do not cause the problems (diseases) by themselves. They just reproduce and spread in their natural habitat the oxygen – deprived bodies. The moment the cells in our bodies is deprived of oxygen it becomes acidic and normally all kinds of viruses and harmful bacteria thrive and reproduce exponentially. The cells with enough oxygen are uninhabitable by all kinds of diseases and viruses. Therefore, the recommended defense against all diseases is to keep the cells in our bodies always oxygenated. MIRACLE GRASS -Vetiver " vetiveria zizanoedes"
The secret of Vetiver grass is in its deep root system. The unique rooting system of the grass binds loose soil to prevent surface erosion. Its long growth anchors the soil as deep as 3meters. The roots of vetiver grow one foot every month until they reach 3meters on the 9th month.
The nitrogen properties of the grass also encourage the growth of other vegetation on eroded slopes. When planted correctly, the vetiver hedges (the grass is planted in a row) block the water flow, thus breaking its velocity as it goes down the slope. What come down instead are gentle tricles of water filtered by the vetiver hedge rows. This also traps the soil thus reducing siltation.
Vetiver is a "behaved grass" because it is propagated by cuttings and only grows where it is planted thus it does not become an invasive weed. Though the grass produces seeds, these are sterile. It can grow in any type of soil, even toxic soil or soils with high metal content such as copper, manganese, aluminum, selenium, cadmium even arsenic. It can even grow on garbage, and can grow back after it is razed by fire. It is nitrogen-fixing thus it helps in conditioning the soil for other vegetation to grow.
Vetiver planting is a cost-efficient technology for soil erosion control. While it is basically maintenance-free, planting the grass involves an engineering technology in order to make it effective.
BE aware, since it is labor intensive, a lot of the cost of propagation goes to the labor rather than materials. For more information, email: biosolution366@yahoo.com.ph or log on to www.biosolutions.com.ph
TEA PASSION
The British are also passionate about their tea, and the elite would spend their late afternoons with tea and pastries.
Japan perhaps could claim to have the only remaining tea ritual still observed today.
Tea had it's medicinal value- polyphenols that help fight a myriad of diseases including cancer. These polyphenols are called flavanoids, a potent antioxidant that lends to the many health benefits that can be had with regular tea intake.
Polyphenol is known to protect the body from free radicals, help prevent blood clotting, lower cholesterol levels, neutralize enzymes that aid in the growth of tumor cells, help de-active cancer promoters and help stimulate the immune system.
The fluoride in tea also helps in promoting stronger teeth. Also tea contains theanine, an amino acid that reduces mental and physical stress while helping improve understanding and mood.
GREENLAND Ice Loss Accelerating
The report indicated that ice losses quickened in 2006-08 to the equivalent of 0.75mm (0.08inch) of world sea level rise per year from an average 0.46mm a year for 2000-08.
The years 2000-08 with their warm summers have seen a huge melting. The underlying causes suggest this trend is likely to continue in the near future researchers said.
The computer models matched satellite data for the ice losses- raising confidence in the findings and showed that losses were due equally to melt water caused by rising temperature, and icebergs breaking off from glaciers.
BE aware, Greenland locks up enough ixe to raise world sea levels by 7meters (23 feet)if it ever all thawed.

OPRAH ending TV show
Winfrey 55 did not divulge her future plans but her production company, Harpo Inc said in a statement that once production ends on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 2011, she plans to appear and participate in new programming for OWN, the Los Angeles based cable TV venture she formed with Discovery Communications Inc.
Harpo said the launch date for OWN, or the Oprah Winfrey Network, which will be seen in more than 70 million homes, was now set for January 2011. During her long career atop the television talk show heap, Winfrey's fluctuating weight and personal relationships have become tabloid fodder and commentators have wondered whether she was tiring of the grind - only to see her slim down and revive her show's popularity.
Winfrey choked up once and wiped away a tear as she thanked viewers for having "graciously invited me into your living rooms, your kitches and into your lives everyday since 1986.
EVERYDAY POISON 3 of 3
AEROSOLS, gels and pumps. avoid using products containing BHA, DEA, TEA, D&C Red 33 FD&C
Yellow 6 and padimate O. If you use aerosol or pump hair spray, be sure to follow the label directions and precautions and apply the product in a well ventilated area.
WRINKLE CREAMS concealers and other skin products. These products may contain MEA, TEA or DMEA and TEA in skin products are common pH stabilizers, but when they are exposed to air, they form potentially irritating substances called nitosamines. They also have shown a tendency to clog pores and create black heads.
DMAE is common instant face lift ingredient in wrinkle creams and actually does its work by causing cell damage and swelling. Sure the wrinkles will go away temporarily but it doesn't mean it is good for you.
Cream and liquid foundations that contain butyl stearate, cpcpa butter, corn oil, isopropyl myristate, lauryl alcohol or linseed oil can result in various degrees of cosmetic acne.
EVERYDAY POISON 2 of 3
PEANUT BUTTER. can be contaminated with carcinogenic pesticides including DDT, Dieldrin and toxaphene. It can also be contaminated with the fungus aflatoxin, another carcinogenic. Organic peanut butter would be better, and must be certified free from aflatoxins. Good substitute for peanut butter are almond or sunflower butter or organic tahini.
COFFEE, SUFTDRINKS and other products containing CAFFEINE. heavy coffee consumption has been cited as a possible cause of urinary bladder cancer. Methytlene chloride, used to decaffeinate coffee, has been foun to be carcinogenic. Use decaf coffee with caution unless the label specifically states that it was decaffeinated using the swiss water process or other similar non-solvent process. Soda or softdrinks on the other hand can be contaminated with chloroform because of the use of chlorinated tap water in its production, carcinogenic artificial sweeteners such as saccharin, and aluminum, which is neurotoxic and leaches or drains into drinks in aluminum containers. Avoid diet softdrinks sweetened with cyclamates or saccharin, all of which have shown ecidence of being carcinogenic.
FRUITS and VEGETABLES. sadly, these are also vulnerable to a wide range of carcinogenic pesticides. Know where your fruits and veggies come from and make sure these sources used approved farming methods. If possible buy organically grown produce.
EVERYDAY POISON- consume with caution 1 of 3
NITRITES. bacon, ham, beef jerky, salami and luncheon meat contain this chemical, sometimes in undetermined amounts. Nitrite inhibits the growth of the botulism bacteria and maintains the meat's red color. Although nitrite itself is not carcinogenic, it combines with naturally occuring chemicals called secondary or tertiary amines fo form carcinogenic nitrosamines. This reaction will occur in the food itself while it is sitting on the shelf or in the refrigerator or as it is being fried, but it also occurs withing the stomach once the food is ingested.
GROWTH HORMONES, VACCINES and other ANTIBIOTICS. you may not know it, but the meat, beef or poultry you consume comes with a veritable pharmacy of hormones, steroids and antibiotics. Diets high in calories and animal fat represents 2 major risk factors for breast cancer: obesity and exposure to carcinogenic and estrogenic industrial chemicals in animal fat.
Be aware, sex hormones, natural and synthetic are given up to 90% or more of the cattle raised for slaughter in the US which also leave residues in edible portions of meat.

CANADA update
Research said the top 5-least corrupt countries are: New Zealand, Denmark, Singapore, Sweden, and Switzerland. While the 5-most corrupt countries are: Iraq, Sudan, Myanmar, Afghanistan and Somalia.
Socioeconomic status is supposedly related to differences in diet and nutrition, stress-level, health-related behavior like smoking and drinking, access to medical services department to getting vacation.
"Inroads"- a Canadian publication offered an insight why in Canada, the rich have been getting richer and the poor, poorer is that men with higher incomes are marrying only women with equally high incomes. The technical term for this new trend is "educational homogamy" or the tendency of like to marry like. Well-educated men and women attend to marry each other and subsequently have higher earnings and low rate of unemployment.
BE aware, a Greek philosopher once proclaimed: "only the educated are free". Sadly, education is not free.
